Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

We provide full landscaping services including sprinkler installation, boulders, flatwork, pavers, retaining walls, water features, sod installation privacy fences, and our specialty concrete curbing

How much does landscape curbing cost?

The average job costs approximately $1,800, with pricing starting at $9 per linear foot and ranging up to $18 per linear foot, depending on the chosen stamp design, color, and project complexity.

Do I need to prepare anything before your arrival?

Yes, it is helpful if you mark (flag) your sprinkler heads and remove any pet waste from the area. This ensures a smooth and efficient installation process.

Can you adjust or relocate sprinklers?

Yes, we are able to relocate sprinklers as needed during the installation.

Do I need to be present during the curbing installation?

We prefer to meet with you at the property initially. This allows us to mark the proposed curb lines with paint, discuss the design, and create visually appealing, mower-friendly contours tailored to your landscape. Once the lines are approved, your presence is not required for the remainder of the work.

What is the installation process?

We begin by meeting with you to mark and approve the curb placement lines. Once approved, we prepare the area using specialized equipment to excavate a trench approximately 1 inch deep and 9 inches wide. Concrete is then extruded continuously through our curbing machine to form the border.

After extrusion, we hand-finish the curb, cutting control joints every 1.5 to 2.5 feet to manage natural expansion and contraction. We also clean and straighten the front edge for an aesthetically pleasing appearance that facilitates easy weed trimming and lawn maintenance.

Finally, we thoroughly clean the site. Please note the following curing guidelines:
•  Avoid watering or running sprinklers near the curb for 36 hours.
•  Delay weed trimming along the curb for one week.
•  Keep pets and foot traffic off the curb for at least two days.
•  The curb will reach its final color intensity in approximately 5–6 weeks.

The process may leave some grass behind the curb and will sometimes need added landscape material. We offer an optional enhancement service to remove this grass, install commercial-grade weed barrier (extending from your existing barrier halfway under the curb), and add matching landscape material (rock, bark, etc.). This additional service averages $1,700 but varies based on material costs and scope.

Can you provide colored curbing?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of colors to choose from.

Do you offer custom-designed or stamped curbing?

Yes, we specialize in custom designs, including styles that replicate the appearance of natural stone, available in multiple colors.
